SEALS Company Ltd of Japan extended its Liner RO/RO service to Sri Lanka with its inaugural port call made by Mv. MARINE RELIANCE at Hambantota Port much recently.The service is to be continued with a monthly call at Hambantota to discharge local and transshipment vehicles.
The local agent for SEALS Co. Ltd., M/s Marine International Agencies, together their principals had also arranged a Ceremony on board the ship to mark the occasion of its first port call at Hambantota and exchanged plaques with Sri Lanka Ports Authority ( SLPA ). The Vice Chairman of SLPA, Capt. Asitha Wijesekara, together with Senior Officials of SLPA attended the Ceremony.
The representative of SEALS Co., and the local agents M/s Marine International Agencies also made a courtesy call on Hon. Arjuna Ranatunge, Minister of Ports, shipping & Aviation to mark the liner RO/RO service to Sri Lanka with its inaugural port call made by Mv. MARINE RELIANCE.
