CSC takes delivery of second vessel today

CSC takes delivery of second vessel today

Ceylon Shipping Corporation (CSC) will take delivery of their second Bulk Vessel, Ceylon Princess at the Colombo Port today after a lapse of six years.

The newly built ship has a net tonnage of 21,628 MT.The Corporation obtained US$ 70 mn from the People’s Bank at 5.5% + 06 Months LIBOR for both ships. Ceylon Princess completed its construction on June 15, 2016 at AVIC International Beijing Company Limited in China.

CSC was successful in employing these two vessels productively under commercial management during the previous SW monsoon period where CSC entered into an agreement with Hong Kong based commercial management company, Wallem Commercial Services.
