Sri Lanka Ports authority (SLPA) beat Malaysian Cricket Association XI  by two wickets in the first cricket match held early last week in Malaysia.

Malaysian Cricket Association XI   was 159 in 45 overs.

Lassana Dias 4 wickets for 27 and Suranga Paris 4 wickets  for 30. 

 In reply SLPA scored 162 for eight wickets in 45 overs 

Lasana Dias 63 Not out. Rukshan Samaradeera 27 . Indika Perera 28 

The second match was won by  SLPA by two runs 

SLPA was 132 all out  in 42 overs 

Randika Sampath 22  Rukshan Samaradeera 17 ,Indika Perera 16 ,Lasantha Perera 16 No. 

Malaysian Cricket Association XI  was  129  for all out in 32 overs

The SLPA team led by Indika Perera.  

SLPA cricket team is currently participating in  a cricket tournament organised by Malaysian Cricket Association  in Kualalampur. A well-known  cricket commentator  and  the Deputy  Chief Manager  of  Communication & PR Division of SLPA  Mr. Nalin Aponsu has been appointed the  Cricket Manager of SLPA.
